Q: What "one" thing can a business not survive without?

No Vision? What’s the Point?
A: As an entrepreneur I can tell you without “vision” there is no point. Vision takes you beyond the seen into the realm of the unknown.
A well-defined vision tells the story of future success, it elaborates on why that business matters; it’s exciting; challenging; rewarding; compelling; transforms lives; and more.
“Good business leaders create a vision, articulate the vision, passionately own the vision, and relentlessly drive it to completion.” —Jack Welch
Vision ignites the passion in your team to succeed. It’s what you go back to when times get tough. It’s what you keep in front of your employees, clients, vendors and anyone who will listen. You can’t sell anything without it; in fact, what would be the point?
Survival depends on a compelling: Why. Vision—How big is your why?
Struggling in your business? I encourage my clients to “Get your head out of the day-to-day details” and take time out to refresh, renew and/or redraw your vision. Let your vision speak for itself and take you forward.
